Sleepy Hollow

"Sleepy Hollow" the Musical - October 2008 - 17, 18, 24 & 25 at 8:00 pm and October 19 & 26 at 3:00 pm

Alex Wilson

Alex is in the 7th grade and his favorite teacher is Mr. Boyer.  “I would like to thank my mom and dad for letting me be in the Town Hall Players.  I would also like to tell my sister, Carmen, that I love her very much.”

Barbara Krusinski

Affectionately known as Grandma Barb, Barbara is retired, but extremely busy!  She has acted in 10 productions and several skits.  She has been a producer, stage manager and assistant director – all very important tasks in theater.  “I thank our talented young actors for their dedication – You are the stars!  Oh, and the older actors and singers too!”

Tori Lambert

Tori is in the 8th grade at Stockbridge Middle School.  This is the third play that she has participated in with the Town Hall Players.  She is so grateful to be able to participate in the plays with all the other amazing cast members.  “I would like to thank my whole family, especially my mom and dad, for supporting me and Mr. Boyer for allowing me to do this play with him.  I would also like to thank God for giving me my amazing talents and abilities.  Lastly I really appreciate all the support from everyone And of course I want to say hi to my new BFF, Lauren Sutter (aka Mrs. Van Tassel).”

Caleb Boyer

Caleb is in the second grade and loves to read, do math, and play soccer, baseball and basketball.  He was in “Charlie & The Chocolate Factory” with the Pinckney Players, and in the Town Hall Players productions of “Alex in Wonderland” and “Robin Hood”.  “I would like to say hi to my mom and dad.  I love you.”

Chris Miller

Chris began his interest in theatre in at Chelsea High and never looked back.  His first show with the Town Hall Players was “Alex in Wonderland” and has been hooked since.  “I would like to thank Jeff Boyer for letting me be a part of this and hope to do many more shows.  With the way my kids want to be a part of this that should not be too much of a problem.  I love working with the kids and adults.  Musicals are soooo much fun…..”

Courtney Ostrander

This is Courtney’s second play with the Town Hall Players. She was in “Alex in Wonderland”.  Courtney was involved in dance since the age of 4.  She is in 7th grade and is a cheerleader.  “I would like to thank my mom and dad for letting me do this play.  Also for taking time to drive me to play practice.  I love you mom and dad!  Enjoy the show”.

Crystal Biddix

Crystal is 16 years old and in the 11th grade at Stockbridge High School.  She was last seen on stage in the Town Hall Players production of “Alex in Wonderland” as the Queen of Hearts.  She is on the Quiz Bowl and Science Olympiad team, and is a member of a school group called claw marks.  Crystal would like to thank directors, Jeff Boyer & Barbara Krusinski for their time.  “Also I would like to say thanks to my family and friends for supporting me.  I love you guys!”  Crystal’s favorite movie quote is from Shrek when the gingerbread man says, “No, not the gum drop buttons!”

Dave Avery

Dave last appeared on stage with Chelsea Players "Squabbles” as Wasserman the retired pharmacist and best friend of the main character. Before that, he was juror no. 2 in the Town Hall Players production of 12 angry jurors, the cabbie in "Harvey" and the "Mr. Bester" in Up the Down Staircase. If I could remember anything else I would be able to play a lead instead of a character.

Dean Kot

Dean is a freshman at Stockbridge High School.  This is his first time with the Town Hall Players.  He was inspired to join the Town Hall Players be Megan Sutter and Jeff Boyer.  Dean plays the drums in the high school band and rides horses.  He plans to go to college and become an athletic trainer or a paramedic.

Eric Wager

Eric has been on the tech crew for the Town Hall Players.  He is involved soccer, basketball and baseball.  In his spare time he likes to work outside.  “I would like to thank Scott Crandall and Storm Boyer for helping me to be more confident and helping me with my lines”.

Hayley Mannon

Haley is in the 7th grade and her favorite teacher is Mr. Boyer.  This is her first time with the Town Hall Players and hope to be involved in more shows.  “I want to thank my mom and dad for allowing me to be part of this show and for providing me transportation to rehearsals.  This is a lot of fun!”

Hannah Norton

Hanna is 10 years old was in the Town Hall Player production of “Alex in Wonderland” as the Dormouse.  She is involved in the Scottish dance competition, Highland Dancing.  She would like to thank her mother for supporting her in this play

Hayley Elmer

Hayley is in the 7th grade at Stockbridge middle School.  This is her first time being involved with a theater production.

Jake Chapman

Jake likes to wrestle and play soccer.  He has been in Town Hall Players productions of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” and was small Alex in “Alex in Wonderland”. Jake is in Mrs. Taylor’s 4th grade class.  “I’d like to say hi to my class.  I would like to say hi to my dad, Lance.   By the way, my nickname is OOJ (double-o j)”

James Clark

James is a senior at Stockbridge High School.  He appeared in Town Hall Players “Up The Down Staircase”, “Today Again”, “Variety Show” and in a Stockbridge High School production of “Fools”.  James would like to thank Jeff Boyer for believing in him.  “Mr. Boyer was first to give me, the quiet kid, a chance.”

Jeff Boyer

Boyer is the founder and president of the Town Hall Players.  He has directed, produced and/or acted in numerous shows.  Boyer has worked with the Pinckney Players, Chelsea Players and the Lansing Civic Players.  Boyer is a middle school math and science teacher and a magician that performs for private parties.  He is most proud of being a dad to his three kids; Caleb, Nick and Storm.  “I would like to thank my wife, Lisa, for her support and help with his play and supporting during the hundreds of hours I’ve spent with the Town Hall Players.”

Jenna Chapman

Jenna is in 7th grade and involved in cheerleading and of course the Town Hall Players She has been in many THP plays including “Robin Hood”, “Snow White & the Seven Vertically Challenged People”, and “Pinocchio”.  Besides acting, she loves to read, write and mess around with her friends.  “I would like to say hi to my friends Sara, Nick, Courtney, Tony, Ally, Storm, Scott and a bunch of other people.  You guys are the best!  And I want to say that I love my brother Jake.  I hope everyone enjoys the show!  Thanks for coming!”

Jenna Patrick

Jena loves to sing, write & listen to music, play guitar, and loves to read.  “I want to thank Mr. Boyer for giving me a part in this play.  Hi Storm, Sara, Noelani, Crystal, Scott, Nick, Eric and Tony”

Kaitlin Miller

Kaitlin is in kindergarten and has enjoyed being in Sleepy Hollow.  She was in the Town Hall Players production of Robin Hood.  “I would like to thank my mom and dad ‘cuz I love them very much and my big brother, Eric, too!”

Katie Whitt

This is Katie’s second play.  She was in the Town Hall Players production of “Alex in Wonderland”.  Katie is in the 8th grade and has been in cheerleading.  She likes to hang out with her friend and sometime likes to be alone in her spare time.  “I have a lot of people to thank, but the list is too long so I thank everyone I know and love.

Lauren Sutter

Lauren is 15 and a freshman at Stockbridge High School and has lived here all her life.  This is her first Town Hall Player performance and has enjoyed it immensely.  When she was in 7th grade, Lauren was in a school play where she played an evil stepmother, so portraying a kind and loving mother is a big turn around for her.  “I appreciate what everyone has done to help me out with my crazy golf and school schedule.  I‘ve had a ton of fun getting to know everyone, especially Tori Lambert, Crystal Biddix, James Clark and my “daughters”, Poppy and Storm.  My thanks t everyone involved.  I love you guys”.

Megan Sutter

Megan worked in school plays, but this is the first Town Hall Players experience.  She plays softball, runs track, plays the trumpet in the high school band and is on the quiz bowl team.  “I would like to thank my parents for getting me to rehearsals and for my sister for getting me involved.”

Michael Samhat

Michael was in the Town Hall Players production of Pinocchio and in many skits including “Whose Line is it Anyway?” and many others.  He enjoys playing the guitar, soccer, basketball and singing.  “I would like to thank Mr. Boyer for giving me the chance to act in another play and Ms. Hatch for pushing my voice through my two years in choir.  I would also like to thank all my friend that have helped me through this amazing production; thanks to my mom, Sara (with no “h”), Jenna, Storm, Nick, Scott, Noelani, Lauren and Tyler.  You guys rock!

Nick Boyer

Nick has been in several plays with the Town Hall Players: “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” “Pinocchio”, “Alex in Wonderland”, “Robin Hood”, “Today Again”, “Charlie & The Chocolate Factory” , “The Variety Show” and many more.  In his spare time he likes to play his drums, Post movies on Youtube, Play Guitar Hero, listen to Weird Al Yankovic and watch TV.  To see his movies on Youtube, go to www.youtube.com/psycological5.  “I would like to thank my dad for starting the Town Hall Players my sister, brother and mom for being supportive.  I also want to thank Weird Al Yankovic for, well… hmmm… nothing really… but I just want to thank him.”   “I will eat for food”

Nikki Clark

 

Noelani Sweet

Noelani is a 13 year old freshman at Stockbridge High School.  She enjoys singing, playing soccer, hanging with friends, writing songs, poems and stories.  She has been in the Town Hall Players productions of  “Charlie & the Chocolate Factory”, “Today Again”, “Snow White & the Seven Vertically Challenged People”, and “Alex in Wonderland”, along with countless skits.  “I would like the thank Mr. Boyer for letting me be part of all the plays and my parents for putting up with me, bringing me to practice.  I would like to give special thanks to Michael Samhat’s parents for carpooling.  Last but not least, I want to thank all of my friends for encouraging me to stick with theatre, helping me with lines and homework.  Most of all I would like to thank God for the opportunities and abilities.”

Paul Crandall

Paul Crandall is new to the Town Hall Players, though his son, Scott, is now an old hand.  Paul would like to thank Jeff and Lisa Boyer, Barb

Krusinski, Chris Miller and all the other steadfast THP veterans who have volunteered their talents and a great deal of time to making our community a better place to live.

Poppy Cox

Poppy appeared in the Town Hall Players production of Robin Hood”.  She likes to sing, dance and art and is on an all girls traveling soccer team..  Poppy likes to collect guitar picks.  “I would like to thank Mr. Boyer, Grandma Barb and all of the other people who help.  I would also like to thank my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles for their support”

Sara Lewis

This is Sara’s 5th play and plans on being in many more.  She is a member of the middle school student council and a writer for the Sun Times News  In her spare time she enjoys playing the Atari, drinking Arizona Tea, reading and writing.  “ I would love to thank everyone in this production for basically being my second family.  I’ve been through some hard times these last couple of weeks and the Town Hall Players have been here for me.  Thank you guys so much.  By the way I want to say Hi to Jenna, Jeffrey, Ally, Mady, Noelani, Tony, Nick and Storm.

Scott Crandall

Scott is an experienced actor with almost four years as a Town Hall Players and performing in over 14 shows.  Acting has become his spare time with a side of band and choir. “I’d like to thank first and foremost Mister Jeff Boyer not only does he dedicate himself to the Stockbridge acting community, but provides many valuable services for our village.  I would also like to thank my parents for putting up with my schedule and also Mrs. Floeter for allowing me to miss band activities to be in this play.

Storm Boyer

Storm is 15 years old and has been in almost 80 plays and skits.  She has been in multiple productions with the Town Hall Players and the Pinckney Players.  She was recently Alex in “Alex in Wonderland”.  She has also played Veruca Salt in the Pinckney Player production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.  She spends a great deal of her time acting (big surprise), reading, running, and eating popcorn (Sometimes all four at the same time).  Some things that she just cannot stand are M&M’s, S’mores, and her usual 3 hours of homework.  She wants to thank her parents and friends for their love and support.  “Oh, wait!  And all the little people out there!  You guys are awesome!”

Taylor Zibell

Taylor is in the 8th grade at Stockbridge Middle School.  She is on the quiz bowl team and plays volleyball.
